Barry Allen is a forensic scientist and crime scene investigator at The Central City Police Department with a reasonable happy life, despite the childhood trauma of a man in a red and yellow bizarre killing his mother and framing his father for it. All that changes when a massive particle accelerator created by visionary physicist Dr. Harrison Wells and his team at S.T.A.R Labs causes a malfunction creating a freak storm, killing many people and Barry being struck by lightning in his lab. He wakes up after a coma nine months later. He and his new friends at S.T.A.R Labs discover that he has superhuman speed and can run on both land and water. He can move, think and react at light speeds. He can also vibrate so fast that he can pass through walls, travel through time and lend or borrow speed. He heals more quickly than an average human. Later, he learns that he is but one of the many affected by the incident, most of them who are using their powers for evil. Determined to make a difference, Barry dedicates his life to fighting such threats as The Flash.
Barry Allen was struck by lightning and got in a coma for 9 months. After he awoke from his coma 9 months later, Barry met Cisco Ramon, Harrison Wells and Caitlin Snow. He later on realized that he has powers and how it had been caused by the explosion of the particle accelerator.
It was hard for me to come up with a sensible review, as there were many things that I enjoyed about this series, but some aspects made me more than irritated when watching. The strong points of Flash are that the show is rather chipper, with lovely Gustin Grant in the lead as Barry Allen aka the Flash. Grant plays well as the nerdy, but cute hero of Central City, who is supported by a small team of experts (nerds) of probably everything science. The team and other main characters have their moments but most of the time, the dialogue is a bit too forced and the acting dull. Especially the mandatory love interest Iris West is the living cliché of a superhero girlfriend, who tends to be both boring and annoying, and it doesn&#39;t make it any better that Candice Patton seems to be a woman with only one facial expression. <br/><br/>Some character flaws however are mostly due to the bad and sloppy script writing that plagues the show from time to time. Some of the highlights showcasing this aspect include, but are not limited to the following: 1) A big city of millions of people happens to have only two detectives, who solve all the crimes (especially all related to the new emerging metahumans). 2) The 20 somethings run the STAR lab all day everyday, without any other priorities in life. 3) Two super criminals have blasters that could freeze/burn all the cops, but they only aim for their shields and not their legs, which are visible. And flash doesn&#39;t grab their guns even though he could with his quick feet as other people have pointed out (continuity?). 4) One of the most laughable moments was episode 14, where the cosy twosome of Ronnie/Stein merged in Ronnie&#39;s body, explodes, but somehow they both survive and have separated into two different bodies? Their clothes are a little burned, but honestly, if Ronnie didn&#39;t turn into a 3D printer during the explosion, where on Earth did Stein&#39;s body magically appear from (with glasses and all)? The show has similar kind of goofs, but this was just plain stupid.<br/><br/>Still, even though the intelligence of the viewer is sometimes underestimated with the aforementioned things, the show is still entertaining if you let things slide. Why, it&#39;s hard to tell. Somehow I find humor in the crappy script writing and the poor written characters. Flash itself is an interesting character and I like the cross references they have with the Arrow for instance. And as a lover of the whole superhero genre itself, I can see why this series is getting a strong liking from the fan base as all in all, it&#39;s well-intentioned even with all its faults. <br/><br/>In conclusion I kind of hate to love this show, but still it&#39;s fun to love hating it too.
The Flash is a great show for the most part. It brings a true comic book feel to the table, more so than any of the other super hero shows or movies out there today. It feels like you are watching a live action comic book, from the dialogue and the way characters act to the way the meta humans and monsters look. The story is fun and really draws viewers in, and it is definitely something to look forward to every week. The show is definitely very cheesy however, with many plot holes and easy ways to get around problems. However, these are just part of the general comic book feel in my opinion, and it is easily ignorable. Overall, it was a great movie and definitely something you should look into if you are a fan of the comic book genre.

No. Flash and Arrow are not part of the same universe as Man of Steel and &quot;Batman v Superman&quot;. In the movie universe, the Flash will be played by actor Ezra Miller. Tony Todd For the first crossover you do not. Each episode tells a largely self contained story, with characters from each show simply traveling to the other one&#39;s city to fight a villain. <br/><br/>In the season two crossover that begins with the Flash episode &quot;Legends of Today&quot; you probably should watch the Arrow episode &quot;Legends of Yesterday&quot; as the two episodes tell one story. If you don&#39;t watch &quot;Legends of Yesterday&quot; then you won&#39;t know how the story from &quot;Legends of Today&quot; ends. These two episodes also lead into the spinoff series &quot;Legends of Tomorrow&quot;. Every season, there will be a meta-human villain, but here are the main ones:<br/><br/>Season One: Harrison Wells(Actually Eobard Thawne aka the Reverse Flash)<br/><br/>Season Two: Zoom<br/><br/>Season Three: Alchemy, Grodd, and Savitar<br/><br/>Season Four: The Thinker (so far) There is no exact speed but as every episode premieres, Barry gets faster and faster and eventually cantravel through time.<br/><br/>In the episode &#39;Tricksters&#39;Barry / The Flash is forced to run over 600mph otherwise a bomb attached to his wrist by The Tricksters will explode. Barry removes the bomb via Harrison Wells&#39; request , vibrating through a wall and leaving the bomb on the other side. <br/><br/>In addition, in the episode &#39;Fast Enough&#39;Barry / The Flash makes the decision to travel back in time by creating a wormhole to the past by running at super speeds. Dr. Martin Stein adds that he will need to be running at Mach 2 to be successful, any slower will result in his death. He then runs this speed and is successful in traveling back in time. Mach 2 is about equal to 680.58 m/s or 1,522.41 mph.
